Up to 4 hours: Between 08:00 and 13:00 or between 13:30 and 18:00. £140.00
Over 4 up to 6 hours: Between 08:00 and 18:00. £190.00
Over 6 up to 8 hours: Between 08:00 and 18:00. £255.00


Half day tours are up to 4 hours maximum, which can be either morning (expected to finish by 13.00) or afternoon tours (expected to start from 13.30). If a tour finishes more than 30 minutes late due to unavoidable circumstances then the next fee bracket will be applied. Fees for tours longer than 8 hours will be at individually negotiated rates. For tours starting before 08.00, or finishing after 18.00 there will be an additional fee of £25.00 added

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out important information regarding the engagement of our Services and Guides as defined below. You should read these Terms and Conditions carefully and retain them for future reference.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:

Agreement

means your booking to engage our Services, these Terms and Conditions and the Fee Schedule.

Client

means the person, group or Company who instructs us to provide the Services. References in these Terms and Conditions to you”, your” and yours” shall be construed as references to the Client.

 

Fees

means the fees set out in the Fee Schedule as may be varied from time to time.

Fee Schedule

means the Fee Schedule forming part of these Terms and Conditions.

Guide

means a qualified Blue Badge Guide registered with the GMRTG (Guild of Manx Registered Tour Guides) and insured via the British Guild of Tourist Guides or similar. Our Guides are English speaking.

Invoice

includes an invoice, fee note or similar request for payment issued by us.

Services

means the services you booked subject to the Fee Schedule and these Terms and Conditions

2. Services

At your request we agree to provide the Services, which are governed by these Terms and Conditions and Isle of Man Law. We reserve the right to suspend or refuse to provide any Services where you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Booking

To ensure availability of Guides, transport and organisation of all operational matters we strongly advise you to make provisional bookings with us as early as possible by email. Provisional bookings are accepted without commitment at any time up to 28 days in advance. Provisional bookings should confirm as much detail as possible. Please keep us informed about any subsequent changes as soon as they arise.

To guarantee availability a non-refundable booking fee applies 28 days prior to arrival and for any additional Guide or other personnel booked thereafter. Confirmed bookings will include the number of Guides and other personnel required, the tours required, expected timings and expected number of passengers. Additional Guides and other personnel may be provided at shorter notice, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Please be aware that children under 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times by prior agreement.

4. Fees and Charges

We will charge Fees for the provision of Services and you agree that we are entitled to charge Fees. You covenant to be responsible for payment of our Fees and all disbursements which we incur in relation to the Services.

For bespoke events, corporate bookings and guided tours and advance payment of 30% is payable on booking, with the balance on completion of the event. A booking should not be considered as definite until confirmation has been received from us following payment.

Payment of fees is to be in British Pounds Sterling only. A booking administration fee will be added for foreign exchange transfers.

We will raise invoices for Fees due under this Agreement. Invoices are due and payable within 30 days of presentation, unless otherwise stated on our invoice.

We may increase or vary any of our Fees from time to time and, where we do, we will notify you of any such change in writing, usually by email.

5. Entire Agreement & Variation

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the provision of Services. We reserve the right to vary, amend or add to any of the terms or provisions of this Agreement and will give at least 30 daysnotice by email, fax or in writing of any variation.

6. Cancellation, Cancellation Fees

A confirmed booking may be cancelled by the Client by email notification. On cancellation by the Client, the confirmed booking and the obligations of the parties cease and terminate, subject to the non-refundable booking fees and cancellation fees. We would advise the Client to consider insurance against cancellation fees.

The cancellations fees are as follows:
Booking cancelled between 10-5 days from the proposed date of arrival: 50% of our fees.

Booking cancelled within 4 days (96 hours) from the proposed date of arrival: 100% of our fees.

Any unadvised reduction in numbers on the date of the tour will not alter the fee for the booked tour already calculated.

7. Limitation on Liability

We shall not be liable to you or any other person for any loss, damage or expense incurred directly or indirectly as a result of us providing the Services unless such loss was caused by our wilful default or fraud.

8. Acceptance of the terms of this Agreement

If you proceed to book our Services you will be deemed to have accepted, and be bound by, these Terms and Conditions.
